Victoria Beckham’s looks are the epitome of class, elegance, and femininity. Her outfits are neither overdone nor tawdry or mincing. Her style is recognizable and unmistakable. Always rocking a pair of sunglasses and heels, she believes these two items “can turn most outfits around”.
Whilst I cannot survive in heels all day every day (and I bet neither can she if she had to commute to work by public transport!) she’s one of the style icons who influenced my sense of style and has inspired many of my looks – from styling my summer dresses for fall with a comfy polo neck sweater to borrowing my boyfriend’s shirt for a relaxed smart casual look.
So here are 25 of Victoria Beckham’s best office-appropriate looks to inspire the elegant and classy boss lady in you!
Wide Leg Trousers
Victoria Beckham is 1.63m tall (5.34 foot) – pretty average height actually. But wouldn’t you agree her legs look exceptionally long! One of her secrets? Wide leg trousers paired with high heels. And you don’t have to go crazy with heel heigh either – just pick longer cut models which cover the shoe, thus creating the illusion that your legs are longer.
Whether you combine them with a matching suit jacket, an elegant blouse, or a more casual shirt you are guaranteed to look elegant, smart, and stylish in the office. And don’t forget your sunglasses for drinks after work!
Simple Elegant Dresses
Victoria Beckham is never overdressed. Unlike other celebrities and style gurus, she doesn’t compete for having the craziest outfit, or the weirdest accessories. She has famously said that “Even the simplest of dresses, if it has the correct seaming and the fabric, whatever shape or size you are, it can change the way you hold yourself”. She can often be spotted wearing seemingly simple outfits with a plain dress and accessories. But she’s exuding elegance and class – the perfect combination for an elegant, office look, suitable from the boardroom to the bar for drinks after a busy day.
I find that even the simplest of dresses, if it has the correct seaming and the correct fabric, whatever shape or size you are, it can change the way you hold yourself.

Warm Winter Layering
When temperatures drop to 0 Celcius and below, most of us prefer to just snuggle in bed. And if we absolutely must go outside, we choose comfort and warmth over fashion and style. But Victoria Beckham shows us you don’t have to compromise on one or the other – whether styled with trousers or skirts, cosy sweaters can still look chic and elegant, keeping us warm and stylish.
Smart Casual Looks
Victoria Beckham is rarely seen without heels. They’re such an emblematic part of her personal brand and style that she’s even been spotted wearing heels when she had to wear crutches. But sometimes even the queen of high heels swaps them for flats and opts for a more casual look. Yet even then her outfits are impeccably put together and exude elegance and glamour.
Oversized Shirt
You can style an oversized shirt with a pencil or A-line skirt, normal or low waist. It looks relaxed and comfortable yet elegant and chic. And the best thing is you don’t even have to buy your own oversize shirt – just borrow your boyfriend’s to recreate the look.

9 September 2022Unquestionably believe that which you said. Your
favorite justification appeared to be on the web the easiest thing to be
aware of. I say to you, I definitely get irked while people think about worries that they plainly do not know about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal.
Will likely be back to get more. Thanks

17 August 2020Hey there would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using?
I’m going to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a tough time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m
looking for something completely unique.
P.S Sorry for being off-topic but I had to ask!

17 August 2020Hey Jayne,
My blog is on WordPress and I bought a theme for $50: https://themeforest.net/item/buzzblog-clean-personal-wordpress-blog-theme-/7424768?utm_campaign=item_update&utm_content=item_update&utm_keyword=sysemail&utm_medium=email&utm_source=System+Email&utm_term=sysemail
The theme is amazing and very customisable with no css or html knowledge required.
You can check out their templates via the link above.
I chose this one because of the endless possibilities. There are pretty themes for blogs on Etsy but they have more limited customising options. And drag and drop website builders (elementor etc) seemed more daunting.
Hope this helps. Let me know if I can help further.
And good luck. I’d love to connect with you when you start x
